SINAL G20 Dialogues
Pathways to a Regenerative Bioeconomy

The report of the Reconcavo da Guanabara Bioregion, the journey towards a regenerative Bioeconomy, was launched on November 14th 2024, at the Social G20 Forum. The SInal G20 dialogues for the Bioeconomy organised in 2024 and promoted by Sinal do Vale, in partnership with Boticario Group Foundation, Movimento Viva Agua, Euroclima GIZ, Beyonders Collective, ESADE Business School, along others local and international allies, gathered more than 700 participants to explore and consolidate the concept of a regenerative Bioeconomy. The main objective of the dialogues was to mobilize attention and support of the different sectors of society and consolidate solutions that support ecosystem and livelihoods restoration at the Bioregional scal, specifically in the Mata Atlantica Biome.

Campus

Campus Activities

SINAL's operations are headquartered in a 200 hectare campus in the buffer zone between one of the last remaining protected areas of the Atlantic Forest, and the urban sprawl of Rio de Janeiro. It is a vibrant platform where people from diverse backgrounds converge as students, event attendees, volunteers and project participants. Learn how you can be a part of our activities!

Events for groups

We facilitate immersions for groups looking to reconnect with themselves and each other, to obtain deep insights and lasting results in their projects. We take care of accommodation and meals, and can offer facilitation and other logistical services.

Learning journeys

We co-create experiential learning curricula based on our integral regeneration model applied to our projects. We adapt the content for classes of all ages. Topics include regenerative business models, restoration techniques and leadership.

Volunteering and Internships

We create individual immersion opportunities supporting the institutional operation of SINAL and/or specific projects, with a minimum duration of 1 month. Experiences can be validated as internship credits, theses and other student work.

Sinal for Children

We host one day learning journeys especially tailored for children to be in contact with nature, understand basic ecology principles and have some hands on experiences contributing to restoration, such as planting trees, and experimenting with local clay .
