REGENERATING A BIOREGION
Grounded in the Guanabara Bay bioregion, Sinal Do Vale regenerates natural ecosystems, revives cultural landscapes, builds resilient communities and empowers people to activate their agency to contribute to a sustainable future. We do this working with multi-lateral stakeholders across the bioregion to address social, environmental and economic challenges. Our prototypes are focused on soil regeneration, healthy food systems and sustainable economic opportunities.
ACTIVE CITIZENS
Along the Caminho, we are : developing and strengthening a market for agroecological products that contribute to forest restoration. This includes training farmers in agroforestry and regenerative agriculture and establishing partners, such as with Italian B-Corp ABOCA, to develop sustainable supply chains.
REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

PLACE-BASED CHANGE
Bioregional regeneration is a coming home to place.
We believe that the urgent environmental crisis can only be met by regenerative practices that honor local ecosystems and communities. A bioregional focus aligns human activities with the unique bio-geo-physical patterns of specific regions, fostering ecological health, social cohesion and resilience. We facilitate a decentralised approach where commmunities take responsibility for regeneration and resilience as co-guardians of their bioregion.
